Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our corporate communications team. The objective of Corporate Communications is to develop and improve share of voice across the company's target audiences.
You will be responsible for delivery of a range of sales growth-maximising corporate communications activities, aimed at enhancing media coverage and raising the profile of our research and consulting divisions in the Latin America Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to cultivating and leveraging effective relationships with key media/agencies representatives, in order to promote the development and delivery of press releases
- Collaborate in identifying and developing opportunities to pitch to selected media
- Increasing brand name awareness through media and corporate relations
- To reflect overall company objectives by carrying out effective and creative publicity campaigns aimed at stakeholders in media and industry.
- To promote and publicise the company's industry-specific research and consulting competencies.
- To handle the day-to-day (reactive and proactive) media relations and responsibilities for other communications activities in the Latin America market place.
- Build awareness and recognition of Frost & Sullivan's brand in Latin America.
- Build and maintain a database of key press contacts for Latin America
- Manage and build alliances with multiple event companies
- Write press campaigns and obtain interviews for our expert analysts in various trade publications
- Monitor and evaluate Latin America database and build database via innovative alliances
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- BA or BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Business Administration
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to meet deadlines and plan work to achieve targets.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills required. Spanish command a plus.
- The ability to work under your own initiative, but also demonstrate a team-orientated approach.
- A competent standard of computer literacy (Microsoft applications).
